The position of History Expert involves working as an hourly contractor to author, review, and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on history problems, producing original problem sets, and providing clear feedback to improve training data quality.
Requirements
- PhD in History, MA in History with 3+ years teaching or research experience, or BA in History with 5+ years teaching, tutoring, or applied research experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: ancient, medieval, modern, regional, economic, political history.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting maps, archival documents, timelines, and historical imagery.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
