About the Role
As a Heavy Maintenance Planner with National Airlines, you will sit within the Quality Control department and orchestrate the planning behind major aircraft maintenance events. Based in the Orlando, FL area, this on-site position supports the upkeep of our 747-400 and A-330 aircraft that carry out passenger charter, military, and commercial cargo operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and coordinate heavy maintenance work packages for the fleet.
- Partner with Quality Control and maintenance teams to align tasks, resources, and timelines.
- Track compliance with regulatory and airworthiness requirements throughout each maintenance event.
- Organize documentation, work cards, and parts requirements to keep projects on schedule.
- Monitor progress and flag risks that could affect aircraft availability or turnaround.
Qualifications
- Background in aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, or a closely related aviation discipline.
- Familiarity with heavy maintenance processes and Quality Control standards.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in the Azalea Park, Orange County / Orlando, FL area.
