Design and deliver high-quality training and briefing programmes that equip staff at every level with the knowledge and confidence to act appropriately. Monitor and analyse safeguarding performance data, prepare clear reports for the executive team and recommend evidence-based improvements. Build and sustain constructive relationships with external partners, including local authorities, regulators and specialist agencies. Provide specialist advice, coaching and decision-support to managers dealing with individual cases or emerging risks. Champion a whole-organisation culture in which safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and continuous learning is encouraged. Skills & Qualifications Substantial senior-level experience leading safeguarding services or functions within a complex organisation. Deep working knowledge of relevant UK safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance and contemporary best practice. Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop multifunctional teams and to handle highly sensitive and high-stakes situations with calm authority. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills suited to both strategic discussion and frontline support.
