OpenAI is seeking a Head of Events, APAC to lead the strategy and execution of OpenAI’s event ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region. This role involves shaping how events serve as a core engine for marketing, community, and trust, connecting developers, customers, executives, policymakers, creatives, and emerging builders to OpenAI’s mission at scale.
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of experience leading large-scale, high-impact event programs
- Strong judgment and calm leadership in complex, fast-moving environments
- Exceptional people leadership skills, including developing teams, creating clarity, and fostering a high-trust, low-ego culture
- Deep curiosity about artificial intelligence and motivation to positively impact the world
- Operational expertise in logistics, production, and operational planning
