Head of Carbon position at InPlanet, a mission-driven ClimateTech startup, to lead the operational, project management, and people management functions of the growing carbon credit team.
Requirements
- Strong project management background, ideally gained in a startup or scale-up environment
- Experience managing teams, and setting objectives and balancing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Scientific and/or technical background in carbon, environmental science or geochemistry sufficient to understand carbon crediting concepts and engage with subject matter experts
- Master’s degree in a related subject (e.g. geochemistry, environmental science, carbon management)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Humble individual with a willingness to learn
- Proactive communicator who can work across departments and manage up and down effectively
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build structure across teams with complex internal processes
- Willingness to travel regularly
