Serco is seeking a dedicated Strength and Conditioning Coach to join the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Performance Team at our facility in Tarrytown, Travis County (Fort Bragg area), North Carolina. This is a full-time position focused on optimizing Soldier readiness and performance through evidence-based strength and conditioning programming. About the Role As a Strength and Conditioning Coach with Serco's H2F program, you'll lead an elite team committed to enhancing Soldier fitness, resilience, and operational readiness. You'll design, implement, and oversee comprehensive strength and conditioning initiatives that align with Army fitness standards and the holistic health philosophy of the H2F model. Your expertise will directly impact Soldier performance across all levels of physical conditioning and athletic development. What You'll Do Develop and deliver evidence-based strength and conditioning programs tailored to Soldier fitness goals and military operational demands Lead H2F Performance Team sessions, providing direct coaching and form correction to ensure safe, effective training Assess Soldier fitness levels and design individualized training progressions Monitor athlete progress, collect performance data, and adjust programming based on results Collaborate with H2F team members (sports medicine, nutrition, behavioral health) to provide integrated performance support Maintain equipment and training facilities to Army standards Document training outcomes and contribute to program evaluation What We're Looking For Current certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS, NASM-PES, or equivalent) Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field Proven experience designing and implementing strength programs for athletic or military populations Knowledge of Army fitness standards and Soldier readiness requirements Strong communication and leadership abilities to motivate diverse fitness levels Ability to obtain a security clearance (if applicable) Physical ability to demonstrate exercises and support Soldiers during training About Serco and the H2F Program Serco supports the U.S. Army's Holistic Health and Fitness initiative—a comprehensive, science-backed approach to Soldier performance that integrates physical training, nutrition, sleep, and psychological resilience.
