Blackhawk Country Club is hiring a full-time Groundskeeper in Blackhawk, Contra Costa County, to help maintain the championship golf course and grounds that define one of Northern California's premier private clubs.
About the Role
As a Groundskeeper at Blackhawk Country Club, you will report to the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, playing a hands-on role in keeping our golf course in exceptional condition. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Blackhawk, Contra Costa County, ideal for someone who takes pride in detailed outdoor work and delivering memorable member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily golf course maintenance under the direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
- Mow, trim, and care for greens, fairways, tees, and surrounding landscaped areas
- Support irrigation, watering, and turf health throughout the property
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and responsibly
- Help present a clean, well-groomed course that reflects the club's standards of excellence
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical, outdoor labor in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to follow direction from supervisory staff and work as part of a grounds crew
- Reliable, detail-oriented approach to course presentation and upkeep
- Comfort operating turf and landscaping equipment, or eagerness to learn
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Blackhawk, California
