Graduate Engineer

Apex Engineering Group is hiring a full-time Graduate Engineer to join our project teams delivering municipal infrastructure, based out of our Fargo, ND office and serving the Prairie Rose, Cass County area. If you are an early-career engineer eager to grow your technical skills on meaningful public works, this role offers hands-on involvement across the full project lifecycle.

About the Role

As a Graduate Engineer at Apex Engineering Group, you will be a contributing member of project teams supporting municipal engineering work from initial planning through design and into construction. The position is built for a developing professional who can take ownership of assigned tasks while collaborating closely with senior staff and fellow team members to bring plans to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Support municipal projects through every stage, including planning, design, and construction.
• Help prepare and develop project plans and technical specifications.
• Work both independently and as part of a coordinated project team.
• Partner with engineers and project staff to advance design and development objectives.
• Apply sound engineering judgment to tasks under appropriate guidance.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil or a related engineering discipline appropriate for a graduate-level engineering role.
• Ability to contribute to design work both on your own and within a team setting.
• Familiarity with preparing project plans and specifications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside project teams.
• Willingness to learn and build experience across the project lifecycle.
