About the Role

As a Graduate Assistant - Athletics at Post University, you will work alongside coaching staff to shape the development of student-athletes both on and off the field. The position blends hands-on training support with mentorship, helping team members grow their competitive abilities while building character and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of training sessions and practice activities for student-athletes
• Evaluate the skills, strengths, and capabilities of individual players to recommend suitable team roles and positions
• Guide athletes toward reaching their full competitive potential through structured coaching and skill development
• Model and encourage strong leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship among team members
• Apply and uphold NCAA rules, regulations, and compliance standards across all athletic activities
• Contribute to day-to-day program operations using established coaching concepts and best practices

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of NCAA rules, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with standard athletic training concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with a passion for athlete development
• Ability to assess athletic talent and support individualized player growth
• Enrollment in or pursuit of a graduate program, consistent with a graduate assistantship role
