About the Role

As a Grading Foreman, you will direct day-to-day grading operations in the field, guiding equipment operators and ground crews to deliver work safely, on schedule, and to specification. Based in Pineville, North Carolina, this role places you at the heart of our clearing, grading, and storm drainage projects across the Carolinas and Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate grading crews and equipment operators on active job sites
• Interpret plans, grade stakes, and site drawings to achieve required elevations and slopes
• Plan daily tasks, sequence work, and keep projects aligned with production goals
• Enforce safety standards and promote a culture of accountability across the jobsite
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors on progress and scheduling
• Inspect finished grading work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in site work, road construction, or grading operations
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a field crew
• Working knowledge of grading equipment, earthwork methods, and storm drainage installation
• Skill in reading construction plans and interpreting grade stakes
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site in and around Pineville
