About the Role
As Global Safety Manager at Alkegen, you will champion a culture where every employee returns home safe each day. Based in Dallas, Texas, you will steer worldwide safety strategy across manufacturing sites, partnering with operations leaders to embed best practices and drive measurable, lasting improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine global occupational health and safety programs across Alkegen facilities.
- Align site practices with applicable regulatory requirements and internationally recognized safety standards.
- Guide incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coach plant teams and frontline supervisors to strengthen daily safety ownership and accountability.
- Track safety performance metrics and report progress to senior leadership.
- Lead training initiatives, audits, and risk assessments that reduce hazards before they cause harm.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading environmental, health, and safety programs, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong working knowledge of safety regulations and management systems on a multi-site or global scale.
- Skill in influencing teams, building consensus, and driving cultural change across diverse locations.
- Capable analytical and communication abilities, with a track record of turning data into action.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dallas, Texas, with travel as the role requires.
