About the Role

As a General Liability Associate Attorney with Quintairos, Prieto, Wood and Boyer in Sandia Base, Bernalillo County, you will defend clients across a broad spectrum of liability matters within our General Liability Practice Group. This on-site, full-time position places you alongside seasoned trial attorneys at a leading national defense firm, giving you the chance to sharpen your courtroom skills while contributing to high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general liability defense files from intake through final resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related legal documents
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials
• Research case law and shape sound, practical legal strategies
• Maintain clear communication with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
• Partner with attorneys across the firm to advance case objectives

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
• Experience in general liability, insurance defense, or civil litigation
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to professional excellence
