Concord School District is hiring a Full Time Custodian for its 2nd Shift team at Concord High School, where you'll play a hands-on role in keeping a busy school environment clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors alike.
About the Role
This is a full-time, second-shift custodial position based at Concord High School. Working an eight-hour shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., you'll be responsible for maintaining the building to a consistently high standard so that everyone who walks through the doors benefits from a healthy and orderly learning and working space. The posted hourly pay ranges from $19.61 to $21.11, set according to experience and inclusive of a $0.90 per hour shift premium.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the assigned building areas each shift.
- Carry out routine upkeep and general maintenance tasks to keep facilities in good condition.
- Help ensure a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for students, employees, and members of the public.
- Support the smooth daily operation of the school by addressing custodial needs during evening hours.
Qualifications
- Willingness and ability to work the 2nd shift schedule (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), eight hours per day.
- Capability to perform the physical demands of custodial and light maintenance work.
- A reliable, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to health and safety standards.
- Experience in custodial, cleaning, or facilities maintenance is valued, as pay is set commensurate with experience.
