The Opportunity This full-time position provides direct clinical service to children and families who benefit from strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming behavioral intervention. You'll work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with guaranteed hours, implementing evidence-based strategies within a transdisciplinary team that includes behavior analysts, therapists across multiple specialties, and developmental professionals. The role centers on building meaningful progress through positive behavioral support while fostering skills that children can generalize across home, school, and community environments. Responsibilities Complete our comprehensive 2-week orientation and BCAT exam preparation program Deliver individual and group behavior-analytic intervention services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions Execute positive behavior support strategies designed collaboratively with your supervising BCBA Record and track session data to monitor progress toward individualized treatment objectives Maintain close partnership with families and supervisory staff to ensure consistent support across all environments Apply established crisis protocols including de-escalation techniques and mandated reporting requirements Participate in ongoing case consultation and clinical supervision to refine intervention skills Skills & Qualifications Minimum six months of documented experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) Direct experience supporting children in educational, clinical, or care settings—prior work with children on the autism spectrum is highly valued High school diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or master's degree Commitment to obtaining your Behavioral Certification and Training (BCAT) credential within 90 days of hire—we provide full preparation and exam review support Availability for weekday afternoon and evening sessions, with optional Saturday flexibility Valid driver's license and dependable transportation; ability to travel within a 30- to 40-minute radius of Warren, New Jersey Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and core Microsoft Office applications Why Join Cortica - Neurodevelopmental Cortica distinguishes itself through a holistic, team-based approach to child development.
