Front End Loader Operator (Landscape Supply)

Kurtz Bros is hiring a Front End Loader Operator for our Broadview Heights, Cuyahoga County landscaping supply facility. This is a full-time position with a family-owned company dedicated to transforming waste into reusable products while protecting the environment—a mission we've championed for over 75 years.

About the Role

As a Front End Loader Operator, you'll be essential to our daily operations, safely and efficiently managing material handling across our landscape supply yard. You'll operate heavy equipment to load, transport, and organize materials that support landscaping and construction projects throughout the region. Your skill with the loader and attention to operational safety directly impact our ability to serve customers reliably.

What You'll Do

• Operate a front end loader to move, stack, and load landscape materials including topsoil, mulch, aggregates, and compost
• Load customer trucks and transport materials within the facility yard
• Perform pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate material movement
• Help maintain inventory and assist with yard operations as needed

What We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Experience operating a front end loader (or equivalent heavy equipment experience)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following workplace protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Physical ability to perform the demands of yard work and equipment operation
