Customs Support Group is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to strengthen its Group Finance team based in St Pierre, Moka, Mauritius. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to drive financial strategy and business performance across a leading European customs services provider operating in 15 countries. The Opportunity You will serve as a financial analyst and strategic planning partner, working under the FP&A Manager in Rotterdam while supporting colleagues across multiple geographies. This role sits at the intersection of financial rigour and commercial insight—ideal for someone with consulting, finance or business intelligence experience who can translate complex data into clear business narratives. You will work in a growth-focused, data-driven environment where your analytical capability directly influences operational decisions and group strategy. Your Responsibilities Own the annual budget cycle and monthly forecasting processes; develop and maintain multi-year financial models Conduct scenario analysis and financial risk assessments to evaluate strategic options Examine financial statements, cost structures and operational metrics to uncover performance drivers and improvement opportunities Deliver evidence-based insights to senior stakeholders and support commercial decision-making across the group Monitor key financial metrics; perform variance analysis and quantify root causes against budget targets Lead procurement analytics, cost optimisation tracking and tender support activities Contribute to margin improvement and EBITDA growth initiatives across the organisation Qualifications 3–6+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, consulting or business intelligence within multinational or international professional services firms Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or related field Fluent spoken and written English Excellent communication and stakeholder management across diverse, geographically dispersed teams Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret financial data and develop actionable recommendations Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-moving environments Results-oriented mindset with structured problem-solving discipline Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software and business intelligence platforms Experience with Power BI, planning software or analytics implementation is advantageous Comfort working in multidisciplinary and multicultural settings Hands-on, self-motivated and pragmatic approach About Customs Support Group Customs Support Group is the leading customs services provider in Europe, operating across 15 countries with private equity backing.
