Role overview (listing rewrite)

Warp is hiring a remote Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise teams from first conversation to production, deploying agent workflows that turn ambitious pilots into measurable results. Based remotely within the US and Canada, this founding role puts you at the frontier of agentic development. About the Role As Warp's founding Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll be the first person dedicated entirely to enterprise success on Oz — Warp's programmable platform for orchestrating cloud agents at scale. Every organization arrives with its own infrastructure, security posture, and tooling, and your job is to bridge our platform to their reality. Sitting where engineering, product strategy, and go-to-market meet, you'll build shoulder-to-shoulder with customers rather than advising from the sidelines. You'll report to leadership with visibility into every corner of the business. Key Responsibilities Own enterprise implementations end to end — from discovery and success criteria through architecture, deployment, and outcomes. Design agent workflows with customer teams, selecting triggers (Slack, Linear, GitHub Actions, webhooks, cron, API calls), configuring sandboxed environments, and shaping multi-step, integration-driven automation around their development lifecycle. Build production-grade solutions hands-on: writing and refining prompts, skills, and configurations; wiring up secrets, MCP servers, and integrations; and debugging runs through session sharing and observability. Ship something working in days, then harden it over weeks. Guide self-hosted deployments on Docker, Kubernetes, or Direct backends, configuring managed workers, task routing, private registries, and network connectivity. Accelerate deals by joining technical calls early and spotting where Oz cloud agents create value. Turn each engagement into reusable patterns, reference implementations, skills, and templates that speed up the next one. Act as the customer's voice to Product and Engineering, channeling field friction and feature gaps into the Oz roadmap. Qualifications A strong, customer-focused engineer who can ship production-quality solutions, not just recommend them — expect Warp's standard software engineering interview loop. A CS degree or equivalent practical experience. Forward Deployed Engineer-equivalent experience working directly alongside customers in technical environments. About Warp Warp reimagined the terminal and has since grown into a full agentic development environment, paired with Oz for running hundreds of cloud agents in parallel. With…
