About the Role
As a FOIA Paralegal with Security Clearance at Contact Government Services, LLC, you will work within the Legal department on-site in The Gap, Chicago, helping process Freedom of Information Act requests and provide dependable litigation support. This is a full-time, mid-level opportunity for a detail-driven professional who wants to put their FOIA and legal review expertise to work on behalf of a large federal client.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, track, and process incoming FOIA requests from intake through final response.
- Conduct thorough legal review of records and documents to support agency disclosure decisions.
- Assist attorneys and the wider legal team with day-to-day litigation support tasks.
- Organize, manage, and maintain case files and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Help ensure that request handling aligns with applicable federal regulations and timelines.
Qualifications
- An active security clearance, as required to support the supported federal agency.
- Demonstrated experience as a paralegal, ideally with hands-on FOIA request processing.
- Familiarity with legal review, document analysis, and litigation support practices.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Availability for full-time, mid-level work on-site in The Gap, Chicago.
