Athens Services is hiring a results-driven Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead our evening maintenance team and keep our fleet running safely and reliably across the US.
About the Role
As the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift) at Athens Services, you will own the day-to-day operation of our maintenance shop during evening hours. Reporting to the Fleet Maintenance Manager, you will oversee repairs, diagnostics, parts and supply management, and the people who keep our vehicles on the road. This is a full-time, on-site role in the US for a hands-on leader who thrives on coaching technicians and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily maintenance operations, including all fleet repairs and vehicle diagnostics.
- Manage fleet supplies, parts ordering, and inventory levels to minimize downtime.
- Track time and attendance for maintenance staff and maintain accurate operational records.
- Provide clear communication, positive reinforcement, and hands-on guidance to the team.
- Mentor and develop technicians, building skills and accountability across the shop.
- Support a safe, organized, and productive 2nd shift work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fleet or vehicle maintenance, with supervisory or lead responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of diagnostics, repair processes, and parts/inventory control.
- Ability to schedule, coordinate, and document maintenance activities and staff attendance.
- Effective communication and mentoring skills to lead and motivate a technician team.
- Availability to work a 2nd shift schedule on-site in the US.
