Mercor is seeking a Personal Finance Expert to work as a contract AI trainer. The role involves building personal finance tasks, developing scenarios, and creating tax and planning tasks. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in personal finance, tax prep, bookkeeping, or wealth advisory.
Requirements
- 3+ years in personal finance, tax prep, bookkeeping, or wealth advisory
- Expertise in tax preparation (TurboTax or equivalent), budgeting systems (Mint, Monarch, Copilot), or personal bookkeeping (QuickBooks)
- Familiarity with US tax rules and credit card and rewards ecosystems
- Ability to read and produce personal finance artifacts: budgets, tax packets, dispute letters, portfolio summaries
