Finance Project Control Manager
Full Time Professional Remote, US Salary Range: $96,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually
About the Role:
The Project Controls Manager Finance plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and success of various projects within the organization. This position is responsible for developing and implementing project control systems that monitor project performance, manage budgets, and forecast financial outcomes. The manager will collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis. By establishing effective reporting mechanisms, the Project Controls Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, ultimately contributing to the overall profitability of the company. This role requires a strategic mindset to align financial objectives with project goals, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or financial management within a project-based environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional).
- Experience in the management of large-scale projects in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project control systems to track financial performance and project progress.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to provide insights to project teams.
- Collaborate with project managers to identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead regular project review meetings to discuss financial status and recommend corrective actions as needed.
