Requirements
- Fluency in both Fijian and English
- Demonstrated experience providing accurate, complete, and clear interpretation in medical, legal, and community settings
- Strong ability to interpret orally between Fijian and English in both directions
- Proven ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- Combination of formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
- Reliable phone, a laptop or desktop computer, and a stable high-speed internet connection
- Access to a quiet, private workspace to support remote assignments
- Willingness to obtain required medical clearances, including vaccination/immunization records and background checks, as necessary
