About the Role
As a Field Service Technician based out of Lewisburg, Preble County, you will travel to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair lift trucks and related material handling equipment. This is a customer-facing, full-time position where reliable service and clear communication directly support Crown Equipment Corporation's reputation for quality. The role is on-site and field-based rather than remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on lift trucks and material handling equipment at customer locations
- Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently
- Document service work, parts used, and recommendations accurately for each visit
- Communicate findings and next steps clearly with customers to build lasting relationships
- Follow all safety standards and procedures while working in the field
Qualifications
- Mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude relevant to servicing material handling or similar equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a hands-on environment
- Ability to work independently at customer sites in and around Lewisburg, Preble County
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for service calls
- Customer-focused communication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
