As a Field Sales Consultant for Interiors, your primary responsibility is to sell the company's interior products and services to customers through outside sales visits to their homes and trade shows. Although some sales efforts and incidental activities may take place at a customer's home or through virtual channels, you will spend the majority of your working time traveling and away from a dedicated office environment. Your role involves making sales calls, assessing customer needs, providing tailored product recommendations, developing customized price quotes, presenting warranty information and financial options that meet the customer’s needs. You are also responsible for maintaining profitability by completing required sales contracts and paperwork, taking measurements using industry-standard methods to ensure orders meet installation specifications. To drive sales and increase the pipeline of potential customers, you will travel to assigned stores, maintain local relationships, educate store associates on HDIS offerings, and bring awareness to HDIS programs. This position is full-time with remote work options available in California. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Travel and engage in outside sales activities, primarily in customers' homes. Conduct professional and compelling sales presentations. Adapt quickly to changing customer needs and effectively address them. Develop and negotiate customized price quotes based on customer needs. Present warranty information and financial options that meet the customer’s requirements. Maintain profitability by completing required sales contracts and paperwork. Take measurements using industry-standard methods to ensure orders meet installation specifications. Proactively solicit and acquire new customers inside assigned THD stores and during industry events such as Home Shows. Requirements Strong customer service skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing situations. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. A proven track record of achieving sales goals in a similar role. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.
