IAP World Services is hiring a full-time Facility Technician I to help keep critical building systems and equipment running safely and reliably across our US operations. About the Role
As a Facility Technician I at IAP World Services, you will play a frontline part in maintaining and restoring the infrastructure that facilities depend on every day. The position centers on interpreting technical documentation and diagnosing issues across a broad mix of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring operations stay up and running with minimal disruption. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity based in the US (this role is not remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret facility and system drawings, diagrams, and schematics to build a clear understanding of how the infrastructure is configured.
- Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting to bring affected systems and equipment back to full operation.
- Support the upkeep and reliability of power generation and electrical systems.
- Work on plumbing as well as air conditioning and ventilation (HVAC) equipment.
- Assist with environmental and related facility systems as part of day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, schematics, and system diagrams.
- Practical, hands-on knowledge of facility systems such as electrical, power generation, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to identifying and resolving equipment issues.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset suited to an on-site technical environment.
- Eligibility to work full-time in the US.
