About the Role

This is a full-time, hourly Extruder Operator position based at ADM's facility in Sabetha, Kansas. As part of our Operations team — spanning manufacturing, production, maintenance, and utilities — you will operate and monitor extrusion equipment that turns raw inputs into finished product. The role is scheduled for the day shift, typically 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with availability to work overtime as production needs require.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor extruder equipment throughout the day shift to meet production targets.
• Maintain consistent product quality by observing equipment performance and making adjustments as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and standard operating procedures during every stage of production.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Accurately record production data and communicate issues to supervisors and team members.
• Be available for overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, when given advance notice.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to work a 12-hour day shift (8 AM–8 PM) on site in Sabetha, KS.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including weekends and holidays, as operational demands arise.
• Comfort operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical tasks of a production environment.
