Pay is $31.10 per hour and the role qualifies for the school’s full benefits package when eligibility criteria are met. Key Responsibilities Oversee activities mainly for kindergarten through fifth grade and occasionally for sixth through eighth grade Guide after-school sessions that feature indoor art and science projects, outdoor sports and free play, plus gymnasium games and sports Cultivate an open atmosphere by forming positive connections with students and families and by helping children work through disagreements Prepare daily snacks for participating students Coordinate with the Extended Day team on programming ideas, daily setup, and oversight of outside vendors What You Bring High-school diploma or GED Experience supervising school-age children (one or more years preferred) Training in education, child development, or a related area preferred Alignment with institutional mission and values that center inclusive, experience-based education Patience, positivity, and genuine satisfaction in encouraging kids’ curiosity and love of learning Clear verbal and written communication that maintains professional relationships with coworkers, faculty, students, and families Dependability, punctuality, flexibility, and full engagement in daily programming Thorough, timely completion of assigned work and conscientiousness about expectations Willingness to join professional-growth opportunities Proficient use of Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, and Outlook Current Adult and Child CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire) Successful completion of two separate background screenings that meet…
