This position requires an individual with a strong background in high-performance computing (HPC) network systems, specifically for Tier 4 support of the UDC sites. Provide advanced-level support for HPC environments including configuration, tuning, testing, and troubleshooting. Support high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre. Troubleshoot and support HPC farm systems and associated applications like Nagios, xcat, failover software, compilers, RES, LSF, SLURM, and RedHat/Suse operating systems. Work with MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities The role involves providing comprehensive support for HPC environments at Ft. Meade and UDC sites, including: Advanced configuration, tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of high-performance file systems such as XFS, GPFS, and Lustre. Advanced-level troubleshooting and support of HPC farm systems and associated applications such as Nagios, xcat, failover software, compilers, RES, LSF, SLURM, and RedHat/Suse operating systems. Working with MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a candidate with: A bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of experience, or no degree plus 15 years of experience, or ten (10) years’ experience in a large and complex IT environment providing industry and government recognized functional expertise. Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. A security clearance of TS/SCI with both polygraphs is required. DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification.
