In this full-time position, you'll manage critical systems, compliance, and programs supporting our 725,000+ customers and distributed team. Position Summary EverCommerce, a Nasdaq-listed service commerce platform, seeks a detail-focused People Operations Specialist to manage HR data integrity, regulatory compliance, and program scalability. You'll report to the People Operations Manager, working with HR generalists, coordinators, and cross-functional leaders to ensure our People operations remain accurate, efficient, and fully compliant. What You'll Do Steward employee data in our HRIS (Workday preferred), maintaining accuracy and audit-ready documentation while processing employment actions from hiring through separation Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies proactively Own the compliance posture of People Operations, monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring policy and handbook alignment with federal, state, and local employment law Prepare for and support internal and external HR audits, organizing documentation and coordinating cross-functional responses Maintain and improve core People programs including onboarding, offboarding, and leave administration workflows Identify process gaps and implement practical, scalable solutions with leadership support Generate recurring people analytics reports on headcount, attrition, org changes, and compliance metrics Collaborate with HR coordinators and generalists to ensure data quality and documentation accuracy for employee relations work Support defined People Ops projects with strong timeline and stakeholder communication What We're Looking For 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in HR Operations, Generalist, or Coordinator roles Hands-on HRIS data management and employment action processing experience Strong working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and state wage and leave laws) Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms; Workday expertise strongly preferred Practical understanding of job architecture and organizational impact of position-level changes High attention to detail and proven track record maintaining audit-ready data Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently with strong organizational skills Professional written and verbal communication Preferred: HR audit or records management support, HR case management systems (Jira, ServiceNow), benefits or leave administration, HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP), or…
