David Joseph & Company is hiring a full-time Events Manager in San Francisco, California, to lead the planning and flawless execution of events that connect our AI-native insurance technology with the enterprise buyers who matter most.
About the Role
As Events Manager at David Joseph & Company, you will own our on-site events program in San Francisco, shaping how a venture-backed, AI-native startup shows up in front of large, established insurance organizations. We're rebuilding claims processing for the insurance industry — automating intake, fraud detection, and settlement so insurers resolve claims faster, more accurately, and at lower cost. Your events bring that story to life for the people deciding whether to buy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and run end-to-end events, from intimate executive gatherings to industry conferences and trade shows.
- Manage budgets, timelines, vendors, and venues to deliver polished experiences on schedule.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to design events that engage enterprise insurance buyers and support pipeline goals.
- Handle logistics including registration, staffing, signage, catering, and on-the-day operations.
- Track event performance and gather feedback to sharpen future programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing corporate or B2B events from concept through delivery.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and deadlines at once.
- Confident communicator who works well across sales, marketing, and external partners.
- Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable solving problems in real time.
- Able to work on-site in San Francisco, California, for this full-time role.
