We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator / Project Manager to lead projects from initial costing through to successful delivery, combining accurate project estimation with hands-on project management, ensuring all work is financially viable, well-planned, and executed efficiently.
Requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and detailed take-offs based on project plans and specifications
- Analyze drawings, materials, labor, and time requirements to develop competitive bids
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and proposals
- Identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimating tools
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from award to completion
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Track project progress, costs, and performance against budget
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality requirements
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving issues
- Handle change orders, variations, and contract administration
