Entry Level Sales Recruiter

About the Role

This position is part of Amergis's Recruiter Trainee Program, a structured onboarding track designed to build the core competencies every successful recruiter needs. You'll work alongside seasoned recruiters and team leaders who are invested in your growth, gaining the knowledge, tools, and real-world experience to transition from trainee to confident recruiting professional. This is a non-exempt, full-time role based in Wheaton.

What You'll Do

• Learn and apply the four pillars of full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, selecting, and placing candidates
• Source qualified candidates using job boards, databases, referrals, and outreach strategies
• Conduct initial phone and in-person screens to assess candidate fit, availability, and interest
• Match screened candidates to open client positions and coordinate the selection process
• Manage placements through onboarding and maintain ongoing candidate relationships
• Track all recruitment activity and candidate data in the applicant tracking system
• Collaborate with your team to build and sustain a healthy talent pipeline
• Participate in coaching sessions and training activities to sharpen your recruiting skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, professional presence
