Role Description
This is a remote freelance role for an English Korean Simultaneous Interpreter at AsiaLocalize. The Interpreter will be responsible for delivering accurate and fluent real-time interpretation during online interview sessions. They will ensure seamless communication between English- and Korean-speaking participants while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout each meeting.
Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and natural simultaneous interpretation during 2-hour interviews held over Zoom or MS Teams.

Ensure clarity and cultural appropriateness in all interpreted content.

Demonstrate familiarity with terminology related to the gaming sector and ecosystem.

Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy during all interpretation sessions.

Work efficiently in a virtual setting, ensuring technical readiness and reliability.
Qualifications:

Fluency in English and Korean (spoken and written).

Proven experience in simultaneous interpretation, preferably in the gaming or technology industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality interpretation in real-time.

Familiarity with online meeting tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
MUST-HAVE Qualifications:

Previous experience in live simultaneous interpretation.

Experience interpreting for interviews, business meetings, or technology-related discussions.
