At ASP, we are driven by a clear purpose: to elevate the standard of care through innovative infection prevention solutions that protect patients and healthcare professionals worldwide. As a global leader in sterilization and high-level disinfection, we operate at the forefront of science, technology, and clinical practice, shaping the future of healthcare every day.

We are now looking for a Senior Manager, Washing & Disinfection (W&D) – EMEA to play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth across a highly dynamic and critical segment of our portfolio. This is a high-impact, visible role where you will combine market insight, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership to define go-to-market strategies, influence product direction, and collaborate with global teams. If you are passionate about making a real difference in patient safety and excited by the opportunity to shape strategy across diverse EMEA markets, this role offers a unique platform to lead, innovate, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build deep understanding of the W&D and endoscopy reprocessing markets across EMEA, including customer segmentation, clinical workflows, pricing dynamics, tender environments, and go‑to‑market models.
  • Own the regional go‑to‑market strategy for W&D and detergent portfolios, ensuring strong positioning, clear value propositions, and differentiated messaging across markets.
  • Act as the EMEA expert on the competitive landscape, with deep knowledge of competitors’ products, claims, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Identify, engage, and build long‑term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional societies, and clinical influencers to drive advocacy, education, and guideline influence.
  • Define and execute regional market‑entry and growth strategies covering the full marketing mix, including portfolio positioning, pricing considerations, channels, tenders, and promotional strategy.
  • Serve as the primary EMEA interface to Global Product Management, ensuring portfolio, lifecycle, and innovation decisions reflect regional market realities and customer needs.
  • Lead tactical elements of product launches, including product positioning, content development, sales tools, press releases, and social media planning, ensuring strong cross‑functional launch readiness.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure timely & successful product launches.
  • Create relevant, compelling, and engaging multi‑channel content aligned with overall marketing plans, campaign objectives, and product‑specific value positioning.
  • Support the development of customer and sales training materials to educate internal teams and customers on products, clinical value, and services.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret relevant performance metrics and analytics and recommend initiatives or adjustments based on insights.
  • Communicate business‑relevant issues, risks, and opportunities clearly and proactively to regional and global leadership.
  • Influence effectively across a matrix organization, driving alignment and execution without direct authority.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Minimum
  • Master’s Degree – Preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in the Washing & Disinfection (W&D) domain (e.g. detergents, AERs, disinfectants).
  • Proven experience in a regional marketing management role. Prior experience in sales is considered an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, demonstrated through experience managing teams and/or leading cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix organization and influencing across functions and geographies.
  • Solid analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing budgets, including planning, forecasting, and ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Ability to operate in a global environment, with willingness to travel across the EMEA region (up to 30%).
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional European language skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention, microbiology, disinfection, sterilization, and device processing is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented and customer-focused environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects independently, with a high degree of ownership and minimal supervision.
  • Experience in developing marketing content, communication tools, and commercial materials.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong understanding of market needs and dynamics.
