About the Role

The Electro Mechanic Technician is a key contributor to Cargill's maintenance and technical group in Wells, Faribault County. Reporting into our equipment reliability function, you will diagnose, service, and repair the electrical and mechanical systems that power our agricultural machinery, helping minimize downtime and keep production moving safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs across electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults in motors, drives, controls, and mechanical assemblies to identify root causes quickly.
• Support the dependable, continuous operation of agricultural machinery and processing equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned interruptions and extend asset life.
• Work in line with Cargill's safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing both electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an industrial or agricultural setting.
• Strong troubleshooting ability across electrical components and mechanical equipment.
• Comfortable reading technical documentation and diagnosing equipment issues independently.
• Commitment to safe work practices and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site position in Wells, Faribault County (this role is not remote).
