About the Role
As an Electrical Power Engineer on Fervo Energy Company's Power Delivery Team, you will help shape the electrical backbone of cutting-edge geothermal development projects. Based in Crestwood, Houston, this full-time position centers on the design, analysis, and execution of power systems that move clean energy from source to grid. You'll work across a broad spectrum of power delivery efforts and play a hands-on part in advancing renewable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and implement electrical power systems supporting geothermal development projects.
- Contribute to transmission system planning and engineering.
- Support the development of distribution networks and substation infrastructure.
- Assist with grid interconnection efforts and the related technical requirements.
- Help integrate renewable energy sources into power delivery solutions.
- Collaborate with the Power Delivery Team across a wide variety of power-related initiatives.
Qualifications
- A background in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on power systems.
- Familiarity with transmission, distribution, substations, and interconnection processes.
- Interest in or exposure to renewable energy integration.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to contribute to multiple concurrent projects.
- Willingness to work on-site in Crestwood, Houston, in a full-time capacity.
