About the Role

As an Electrical Foreman with M. C. Dean in Monroe, you will take day-to-day ownership of electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the exacting standards M. C. Dean's clients depend on. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends field craft with crew supervision and project coordination.

What You'll Do

• Plan, assign, and supervise the daily work of journeymen electricians and apprentices on commercial and industrial job sites in the Monroe area
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications
• Enforce compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and M. C. Dean safety protocols
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and job-hazard analyses to maintain a zero-incident work environment
• Coordinate scheduling and sequencing of electrical work with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
• Track material quantities, submit requisitions, and manage tools and equipment on-site
• Inspect finished installations for quality, code compliance, and conformance to design intent
• Maintain accurate daily field reports, timekeeping records, and progress documentation
• Troubleshoot energized and de-energized electrical systems and guide your crew through field problem-solving

What We're Looking For

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license; Louisiana state licensure preferred
• Substantial commercial or industrial electrical construction experience, with prior foreman or lead-hand responsibility
• Thorough working knowledge of the NEC and applicable OSHA standards
• Demonstrated ability to read and mark up electrical blueprints and single-line diagrams
• Proven leadership skills — able to motivate a crew, resolve conflicts, and hold people accountable to quality and safety standards
• Strong communication skills for coordination with project management and subcontractors
• Physical fitness to work in a construction environment, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
