About the Role

As the EHS/Facilities Engineer at Metallized Carbon Corp, you will own the day-to-day environmental, health, and safety program while maintaining the buildings, equipment, and infrastructure at our Ossining facility. This position sits at the intersection of regulatory compliance and operational reliability, supporting the production of engineered carbon graphite components used in demanding applications worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee environmental, health, and safety policies to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Coordinate facilities maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep the Ossining site safe and fully operational.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits, then drive corrective actions to closure.
• Lead employee safety training, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness planning.
• Maintain compliance documentation, permits, and reporting for EHS and facilities systems.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to embed safe practices into daily manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Background in environmental, health, and safety management, facilities engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Working knowledge of applicable EHS regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Practical experience with building systems, equipment maintenance, and facilities operations.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Ossining, Westchester County.
