DSP – CommunityENRC

Skill Creations is hiring a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP - Community ENRC) in Morganton, Burke County, to deliver compassionate, hands-on support to the individuals we serve.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional with Skill Creations in Morganton, you will play a central part in promoting the well-being, dignity, and daily independence of the people in our ENRC program. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity for someone who finds genuine purpose in caring for others and helping them thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, person-centered support and care to individuals enrolled in the ENRC program.
• Assist with daily living activities and routines while encouraging skill-building and independence.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment during each shift.
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and dependable attitude with a commitment to supporting others.
• Willingness to work the scheduled hours, which include weekend and overnight coverage.
• Ability to follow care plans and contribute to a positive, team-oriented setting.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position based in Morganton, Burke County (on-site; not a remote role).
• Starting pay: $18.50 per hour for full-time and part-time staff; $17.00 per hour for back-up staff.
• Available shifts include Sundays 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, Saturdays 9:00 PM–9:00 AM, and a full-time 36-hour-per-week schedule working 9:00 PM–9:00 AM.
