About the Role

As a Class A Driver with Safety-Kleen out of the Mahopac, NY area, you'll operate tanker trucks that move used hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Your routes connect local branches to our oil terminal, where collected materials are stored and prepared for re-refining. Safety leads everything we do, every single day of the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport used hazardous and nonhazardous materials using a tanker truck
• Collect materials from local Safety-Kleen branches and deliver them to the oil terminal
• Support storage and intake processes that ready materials for re-refining
• Follow all health, safety, and compliance standards on every route and at every stop
• Complete required inspections, documentation, and handling procedures for regulated loads

Qualifications

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Comfort operating tanker trucks and handling regulated hazardous and nonhazardous materials
• Commitment to working safely and adhering to environmental and transportation regulations
• Reliability and the ability to manage local and regional routes in the Putnam County area
