Drafting Technologist – Energy
who has experience in the Legal Oil/Gas Survey sector and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
- Drafting/calculation of well site, pipeline, dig site, as-built, and legal plans
- Creation of clean and professional-looking deliverables
- Ability to work with field crews and Project Leads to understand job scope and deliver professional products to CORE’s clients
- Quality Control of field data and calculations
- Understanding of Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure system
- Ability to work unsupervised from home using CORE’s virtual system
What you bring to the table:
- Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
- The desire for excellence in all that you do.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to liaise with clients and coworkers
- Creativity
- Experience with Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD Map
- A degree/diploma from a Technical College or University in Geomatics
- Five years of experience in legal oilfield surveys
- Experience with construction surveying would be an asset
- Experience working with Land Surveys
