Are you passionate about keeping young people connected to their families and out of the justice system? Ican Inc is hiring a full-time Diversion Coordinator in Utica, Oneida County to lead frontline diversion services that change the trajectory of youth and families.

About the Role

As the Diversion Coordinator at Ican Inc in Utica, you will steer the everyday delivery of diversion programming, working hand in hand with local community organizations and Oneida County Family Court. This is an on-site, full-time position central to coordinating the supports that help youth remain safely within their homes and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation and rollout of all diversion services across the program.
• Deliver hands-on guidance and support to the youth and families assigned to your caseload.
• Build and sustain working relationships with placement agencies and transitional service providers.
• Collaborate closely with Oneida County Family Court and partner organizations in the community.
• Track program data and prepare reporting that measures participant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and families, ideally within social services, child welfare, or a related field.
• Strong coordination and case management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Comfort partnering with court systems, placement agencies, and community service providers.
• Solid organizational habits for managing data and producing outcome-focused reports.
• Clear communicator who can advocate effectively for the people on your caseload.
