About the Role
As the Dispatcher for George Plumbing in San Antonio, Bexar County, you are the operational heartbeat of the service team. Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager and General Manager, you connect customers with the right technicians at the right time, keeping daily routes efficient and communication clear. This is an on-site, full-time position within the Operations / Dispatch department — a fit for someone who thrives on organization, fast decisions, and outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming service requests and schedule appointments for plumbing technicians across the San Antonio area.
- Coordinate and adjust daily routes to maximize efficiency and on-time arrivals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and field crews, providing timely updates.
- Maintain accurate records of jobs, schedules, and customer interactions.
- Support the Customer Experience Manager and General Manager in keeping operations running smoothly.
- Uphold the company's reputation for craftsmanship, clear communication, and trust on every call.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced operations or dispatch environment.
- A customer-first mindset and a calm, problem-solving approach under pressure.
- Availability to work full-time, on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
