About the Role
As Director, Scientific Product at Simulations Plus, you will guide the scientific vision and direction of products that support pharmaceutical research, development, and regulatory work. This leadership position blends deep scientific understanding with product ownership, ensuring our biosimulation tools continue to deliver meaningful value to researchers and drug developers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the scientific roadmap for products spanning drug discovery, development, and commercialization workflows.
- Translate complex scientific needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with research, engineering, and consulting teams to advance biosimulation solutions, including AI/ML and physiologically based pharmacokinetic approaches.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders across the biopharma sector to understand evolving scientific and regulatory demands.
- Provide scientific leadership that informs clinical trial support, regulatory submissions, and decision-making tools.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific background relevant to pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, drug development, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience guiding scientific software or technical products, ideally within the biopharma or life sciences space.
- Strong ability to connect scientific concepts with product strategy and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Familiarity with biosimulation, modeling, or related computational methods is highly valued.
