About the Role

As Director of Retail Operations at Acosta Group, you will own the day-to-day partnership with a major client's operations team, ensuring that field execution consistently reflects client expectations. You will bridge the gap between client strategy and on-the-ground reality — converting complex operational requirements into clear, actionable plans that your teams can execute with precision and accountability.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary liaison between Acosta Group's internal teams and the client's operations leadership, building a relationship grounded in trust and transparency
• Translate client operational goals and service standards into structured field execution plans
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify gaps, drive continuous improvement, and ensure delivery against client commitments
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams to align priorities and remove execution barriers
• Communicate field insights and performance trends to client stakeholders through regular reporting and business reviews
• Develop and coach internal teams to build operational capability and sustain high-quality retail execution
• Proactively anticipate client needs, escalate issues with proposed solutions, and maintain a forward-looking operational roadmap

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in retail operations, sales operations, or field execution — preferably within a consumer goods, broker, or agency environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships at a senior level while balancing internal operational demands
• Strong analytical skills with experience using performance data to drive decisions and influence outcomes
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate operational detail into executive-level insights
• Experience working in or alongside a major retail ecosystem — Bentonville-area experience is a significant advantage
• A collaborative leadership style with a track record of developing high-performing teams
