Director

HBK Engineering, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking an accomplished Director to lead engineering operations in Guasti, San Bernardino County. This is a full-time, on-site leadership opportunity with one of the nation's respected professional engineering design firms.

About the Role

As Director at HBK Engineering in Guasti, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across our engineering disciplines, guiding teams that deliver civil, environmental, structural, electrical, and subsurface utility design along with construction support and permitting facilitation. This position is central to maintaining the firm's standard of accurate, dependable work, even on the most demanding projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee engineering teams and project delivery within the San Bernardino County region.
• Set the strategic direction for civil, environmental, structural, electrical, and subsurface utility service lines.
• Manage construction support services and coordinate permitting facilitation with clients and agencies.
• Uphold quality, accuracy, and consistency across all engineering deliverables.
• Mentor staff, build high-performing teams, and support professional growth.
• Foster client relationships and represent HBK Engineering in the local market.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a professional engineering or design environment.
• Strong background across one or more of HBK's core disciplines: civil, environmental, structural, electrical, or subsurface utility engineering.
• Familiarity with construction support services and permitting processes.
• Excellent team management, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Guasti, San Bernardino County.
