This full-time, non-exempt Direct Care Worker position with the Extended Day Treatment Program is centered on supporting youth as they build healthy routines, strengthen social skills, and grow with confidence. Working on-site in Hamden, CT, you will provide steady, caring supervision that keeps young people safe while helping them reach their personal goals each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support youth through their daily schedules and program activities
• Promote a safe, structured, and welcoming environment for every participant
• Guide children in developing positive social interactions and coping strategies
• Encourage personal growth, well-being, and emotional development
• Model appropriate behavior and respond thoughtfully to the individual needs of each child
