Position Summary The Deputy Venue Manager role at Trivandi reports to the Event Venue General Manager or Event Venue Manager and forms a vital part of the support structure for both the planning phase and Games-time operations. Operating within the Organising Company planning frameworks, the postholder works across all competition venue functional areas, partners closely with established venue colleagues, and helps embed external partners and suppliers so that a unified “One Team” culture thrives. You will also step up to cover for the Event Venue General Manager whenever that person is off shift, ensuring continuity of leadership. What You'll Do Assist with integrated planning and the coordinated Games-time delivery of venue operations for the assigned competition venue. Help align activity across every competition venue functional area while reinforcing the Organising Company frameworks. Collaborate daily with existing venue teams and support embedded partners and suppliers to uphold a consistent One Team approach. Provide reliable deputy cover for the Event Venue General Manager during periods when that individual is not on duty. Champion exceptional experiences for clients and athletes throughout planning and operational periods. What You Bring Proven track record as an event professional with prior major-event exposure inside a Venue Management function. Demonstrable leadership capability and the ability to take sound decisions when pressure is high. Solid grasp of how existing venue operations run in practice. Genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client and athlete experiences. Working at Trivandi Trivandi is hiring for this role and offers a supportive team environment. The position starts at the Organising Company’s Glasgow city-centre office, with site visits to competition venues as needed.
