As part of the DFS group, we deliver for our brands - DFS and Sofology. This role involves delivering sofas and other furniture items to customers in Tiverton Junction and surrounding areas. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Pick up and deliver furniture items from our warehouse to customer locations within the specified delivery area. Install furniture at customer premises, ensuring it is properly assembled and meets their requirements. Maintain a clean vehicle and ensure all equipment is in good working order for each delivery. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during the process. Keep accurate records of deliveries, installations, and customer interactions. Skills & Qualifications A valid UK driving license with a clean record (3.5T vehicle required). Previous experience in delivery or installation roles would be advantageous but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Punctuality and reliability are key as you will be representing The Sofa Delivery Company at all times. Able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
