About the Role

As a Decedent Care Driver based at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, you will provide reliable transportation and care services within the Office of the Dean's Center for Anatomical Sciences. This is a part-time, hourly position (FTE.48) classified as a Technician (HRLY), paying $17.00 per hour. The role is on-site in Fort Worth and is not retirement eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport donor remains to and from designated facilities with the utmost dignity and discretion.
• Operate department vehicles responsibly while observing all traffic laws and institutional safety protocols.
• Assist with the careful loading, unloading, and respectful positioning of decedents.
• Maintain accurate transport logs and related documentation.
• Adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.
• Support staff within the Center for Anatomical Sciences as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and a clean, safe driving record.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering, in a sensitive environment.
• A respectful, professional, and discreet demeanor when working with donor remains and bereaved families.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Availability to work part-time hourly shifts at the Fort Worth campus.
